Our Story
Built Around the Belief That Paperwork Shouldn't Be Puzzling
Ledgerly was set up to offer a calm, organised space where people can make sense of pension-related documents without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Back to HomeWho We Are
A Quiet Desk in Chiang Mai
Ledgerly opened its doors in Chang Moi after its founder, a long-time Chiang Mai resident, noticed that many people living or retiring in Thailand were sitting on shoeboxes of pension correspondence they had never quite managed to open and organise. The paperwork wasn't missing — it was just unsorted, unlabelled, and quietly gathering dust.
The idea was straightforward: provide a patient, unhurried environment where someone could sit down with their documents, have them sorted into findable sections, and walk away understanding what they have — without anyone telling them what to do with it.
From that first sorting visit, Ledgerly has grown to offer small group information sessions and an annual membership for people who prefer to have their records kept tidy on a continuing basis. Everything we do stays firmly on the side of general information and document organisation. We do not provide personal recommendations or individual guidance of any kind.
Our office is deliberately quiet. There's a reading table, a decent cup of tea, and enough time for things to feel manageable rather than hurried.

Our Purpose
What Guides the Way We Work
Patience as a Practice
We don't rush. Documents get the time they deserve, and visitors are never moved along before they feel ready. The desk is there for as long as you need it.
Plain Information Only
Every session and visit stays on the side of general, educational content. Nothing we say should be taken as a personal recommendation — that boundary keeps things clear and honest.
Respect for Each Person's Situation
Every visitor brings different paperwork and a different history. We treat each person with care, without judgement, and without prying into details beyond what the documents themselves contain.
The People Here
A Small, Attentive Team
Everyone at Ledgerly shares an interest in making administrative tasks feel lighter. No one holds financial qualifications — and that's intentional.
Rachel Lowe
Founder & Head of Organisation
Rachel spent twelve years working in records management before moving to Chiang Mai. She set up Ledgerly after seeing firsthand how much stress an unsorted filing box could cause.
Kanya Phetcharat
Session Coordinator
Kanya manages bookings, welcomes visitors, and keeps group sessions running smoothly. She grew up in Chiang Mai and brings a warm, unhurried manner to everything she does.
Thomas Wren
Document Organiser
Thomas handles sorting visits and helps develop the general information sheets for members. He has a background in archiving and a particular knack for creating clear labelling systems.
How We Work
Standards We Maintain
Operating a tidy, trustworthy document organisation service means taking a careful approach to several practical areas.
Document Handling
Personal documents are handled only in your presence during a sorting visit. We do not copy, retain, photograph, or store any documents after a session ends.
Scope Boundaries
Our team is trained to stay within a clear scope: general information and document organisation only. Requests for personal recommendations are politely redirected.
Privacy Practices
Contact details and booking information are kept securely and used only for scheduling and communicating about your session. We do not pass them to third parties.
Up-to-Date Materials
General information sheets are reviewed periodically to reflect any broad changes to how pension forms are typically structured, so what we share stays current.
Open Feedback
We ask every visitor to let us know how the session felt. Feedback shapes how sessions are structured and helps us keep things genuinely useful.
Accessible Sessions
Group sessions use plain language and avoid assumptions about prior knowledge. We aim to keep sessions accessible to anyone, regardless of their familiarity with administrative paperwork.
About Our Work
Pension Paperwork Organisation in Chiang Mai
Pension correspondence tends to accumulate slowly — a letter here, a statement there — until the pile becomes something no one wants to face. For people living in northern Thailand, whether long-term residents or more recent arrivals, this kind of paperwork can feel particularly difficult to manage from a distance. Ledgerly offers a practical place to sit down, bring order to what you have, and leave feeling less buried.
Our approach is built around the desk — a quiet, well-lit table where documents get sorted into sections that make sense for each person. We use simple labelling, a short checklist, and as much time as needed. Nothing is rushed. The result is a folder that's findable, not just full.
For people who would like to understand how pension forms generally work before they start sorting, our group information sessions offer a calm introduction to the kinds of documents that tend to arrive, what their sections typically contain, and what questions are worth raising with a qualified professional when the time comes.
Ledgerly is not a financial service. We are an administrative support and general information service, and we believe those two things — done carefully and honestly — have real value for people managing their own paperwork in a country that isn't where the pension originated.
